Our lives are usually focused on a relatively narrow band of things. Yet there is often a stream of “other things” demanding our attention as well. In Wh4 you’ll see how that sudden interest of “other things” works in my life.
Being a philomath, I find great pleasure in learning—not for career-advancement, but just for the joy of learning. While researching one topic, I frequently find myself going down the proverbial rabbit hole, chasing other topics.
Throughout the 12 Chapters of Wh4, you will learn about the “Who * What * When * Where” of these Chapters’ topics. You’ll also see history, side-stories, etymology, some science, etc. And you will be introduced to people you had never heard of, or you may only have known as minor players when in fact, they were key to the success of events.
On July 4th, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was adopted by the Continental Congress and was signed by just two men, John Hancock, President of the Congress and Charles Thomson.
You might be saying, “That document was signed by 56 Colonial Delegates.” And, you might also be wondering, “Who is Charles Thomson?” You will find out on page 16.
Enjoy the journey…Bob
